What is the ideal language? The natural development of language hasn't optimized it for learnability or understandability. For example, many words in english add ed to indicate past tense. However there are many exceptions to this rule. For example the past tense of run isn't runed, it's ran. There are many examples of exceptions to the rule that make learnability more difficult. Therefore, a language that's optimized for learnability and usability makes sense. This will never come about organically or naturally. It must be an intentional effort. The metric system was agreed upon for obvious reasons, ease of communication through an agreed common language is even more obviously desireable. My journey to mars

11/10/2021 What did I do today to get to mars: I drank a bit last night so I'm proud of myself for getting up on time today and doing cardio first thing. For 50 minutes. :) I also did some shoulder rehab work and stretched out. During my incline treadmill walk I also was reading, not audio book but an actual physical book. Not really related to mars, a nonfiction book on whiskey and a classic, crime and punishment. But the fact that I'm multi tasking during my cardio makes me happy. 11/9/2021 Decided to start writing this today. Been drinking. If that's any indication, seems like drinking will be involved in a few of these posts. I just turned 40. I'm over weight, 6'1.5" 230 lbs. Not sure why I think I'll be able to go to Mars but where there's a will there's a way right?
